Kiosk Mode

Kiosk mode is a scanner mode that enables automatic accrual of stamps or points (depending on the card type) without any manual input. You configure it directly inside the scanner settings.

There is built-in protection against duplicate accruals — you can set a delay before the same card can receive points/stamps again.

On the Kiosk Mode settings page, all card templates from the account are displayed.

Cards that DO NOT support automation Automation will NOT work for: • Stamp cards (Spend mechanics) • Reward cards (Spend mechanics) • Cashback cards • Discount cards • Gift cards

Cards that support automation Automation WILL work for: • Stamp card — Visit mechanics • Stamp card — Stamp mechanics (If “automatic reward write-off” is enabled, there will be a notification when the reward is auto-redeemed.) • Reward card — Visit mechanics • Reward card — Points mechanics • Multipass • Membership • Coupon

Kiosk Mode Settings Both administrators and managers can enable kiosk mode. Only the administrator (main access) can modify kiosk mode settings. Managers can use kiosk mode but cannot change its settings.

FAQ

What is kiosk mode for? Kiosk mode is designed to automate the accrual of points or stamps, making the process fast and effortless — especially useful when manually performing scanner steps takes too long.

How does it work? Once kiosk mode is enabled, points or stamps are added instantly and automatically as soon as a card is scanned. No further action is needed.

Enable kiosk mode in the scanner settings, turn on automatic accrual, and the scanner will take care of the rest.

Can I disable automatic accrual later? Yes. You can return to the kiosk settings at any time and turn off automatic accrual. After that, all stamps or points must be added manually.

Which card types support automatic accrual? Automatic accrual works for cards with stamps, points, rewards, multipass, or membership mechanics. Some templates may still require confirmation for specific actions.

Should I test kiosk mode first? Yes. We recommend testing it on a test card to ensure accrual behaves exactly as you expect before using it in real customer flow.
