📧Mailgun

To connect Mailgun, you first need to create and configure your Mailgun account.

1. Log in to your Mailgun account.

2. Complete account verification if required.

Add a domain

1. Go to the Domains section and connect your sending domain.

2. Add the DNS records provided by Mailgun to your domain provider.

3. Wait until the domain status shows as verified.

Create SMTP credentials.

1. Go to SMTP Credentials.

2. Click Create New SMTP User.

3. Enter a username

4. Set a password and save it.

Create an API Key.

1. Go to API Settings.

2. Click Create key.

3. Copy the generated API key — you’ll need it during the Highlightcards setup.

Add Mailgun to Highlightcards.

Highlightcards > Settings > Services

1. In the Mailgun section, click Connect Account.

2. A form will appear asking for API Key

3. Paste your Mailgun API key

4. Select the sender user you created earlier.

5. Click Connect.

If everything is correct, the Mailgun connection will be added successfully.

Send a Test Email.

1. After connecting, you will see a Send Test Message button.

2. Enter your email address.

3. Click Send Test Message.

4. Check your inbox to confirm delivery.

If the test email arrives, your Mailgun setup is active.
